Ning has extensive audit (external and internal) and advisory experience in the banking, hedge fund and private equity sectors. He specialises in investment banking internal control reviews, financial risk management, financial analysis and illiquid company & financial instrument valuation. His areas of focus include Equities business front-to-back processes (Program Trading, ETF, Synthetics, Electronic Trading, Volatility including Warrants), structured products and market making platforms.

Patrick is the Head of Restructuring Services in Hong Kong and Asia Pacific, and has recently been appointed as Global Co-Head of Restructuring. With almost 25 years’ experience in the region, Patrick has undertaken a wide range of insolvency, restructuring and MNC exit assignments, including leading KPMG’s teams in the Lehman brothers and MF Global liquidations. In addition to financial services he has extensive experience in the retail, manufacturing, transport and infrastructure sectors.

Paul is KPMG’s Head of Banking & Capital Markets for Hong Kong and has worked with a variety of clients in Hong Kong and across Asia advising them on a range of matters. Paul’s clients comprise institutions in retail/commercial banking, private wealth management and investment banking with a particular focus on international groups’ operations in Asia. Paul regularly engages with regulators, principally the HKMA, sharing views on industry and client matters. Paul has a particular interest on advising firms on their governance, risk and control processes with a recent focus on advising on conduct and culture. Paul has been a member of the Financial Markets Committee for over five years. Paul is passionate about the promotion and continuing development of Hong Kong as the international financial centre for Asia and contributes to this, most recently with the Private Wealth Management Association in 2018 whitepaper on developing Hong Kong as an offshore wealth management hub. He has seen firsthand the ability of Chambers and industry associations to reach, and influence, policy makers and regulators on what actions are needed.

Rani joined KPMG in 2014 from the industry, where she has worked over 15 years in legal and compliance and regulatory risk management at top tier international financial institutions. Since joining KPMG, she has been advising clients in the financial services sector on risk management of money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions, and fraud risks.

Stanley works in KPMG China’s IT Advisory practice and has over 15 years of experience advising organisations in Asia and Europe. He has led numerous projects on IT strategy, IT performance optimisation and digital transformation. Stanley worked closely with the clients’ C-suite in strengthening their IT capabilities from strategy formulation, governance, IT financial and resource management to solution delivery. He also managed a number of digital transformation program across Greater China in strengthening clients’ competitiveness and innovation capabilities for the digital age. He also served as a guest lecturer of an Information Systems Management programme in a local university.
