With his feature debut, THE SUNNY SIDE OF THE STREET, Malaysian-born writer-director LAU Kok-Rui (Ray) marries his personal experiences as an immigrant and his work on documentaries on domestic workers to the mechanics of family drama. The film went on to win Best New Director and Best Original Screenplay while Anthony WONG took Best Leading Actor at the Golden Horse Awards 2022.

MAYCHAM WiN has grabbed the opportunity of Director Ray being in HK the last weekend of May and we are delighted to be able to organise a Private Screening of the movie and a special meet /greet Q&A with Director Ray.
