    Megha Chaddah

    Broadcast Journalist

Megha Chaddah is a broadcast journalist with over a decade of experience in newsrooms in Hong Kong and India. She’s been a keen follower of the global financial markets and has closely monitored its vagaries from the time she kick-started her career, a little before the Great Financial Crisis.

Megha has been immersed in the world of blockchain technology and crypto currencies for almost 2 years - from the highs of US$3 trillion in crypto market capitalisation in November 2021 to it all unravelling a few short months later, from the collapse of algorithmic stablecoins to the demise of one of the biggest crypto exchanges, it’s been quite the ride.

But she firmly believes we are at the cusp of a new financial revolution, one driven by blockchain technology. And as the ecosystem builders battle the crypto chill, we will possibly see the foundation of a new alternative financial architecture being established - one that lets people control their own financial destiny. In the most simple of terms, we are at the early days of a new financial revolution, a time where products, apps and technology that have never been seen or possible before, will all become a reality
